Do you remember your younger days, when you used to tag along with your mom at the grocery store and you get offered samples of milk, cheese and other products that was just recently released? I am the type of kid who gets excited for that and decides if it’s worth buying.
The concept is the same in the beauty world. Makeup and skincare brands usually gave out samples of their new or even existing products everytime you make a purchase. It is a marketing technique that allows customers to see what else the brand can offer. I like how some brands offer a generous amount of samples. Through that, you can actually use it long enough to decide if you want to make the commitment of buying the full size product.
For skincare, Korean brands usually give out a lot of free samples. I even remember ordering some apparel from ebay and I still got skincare samples. Turns out the seller has a massive stash that she just uses it as a freebie to her ebay customers.
For makeup, foundations are the most common avenue for samples. I actually took advantage of this especially if it comes from a high end brand. Face base is my common mistake, the shade and undertones usually is the part where I make a mistake that’s why I pay attention to the free sachets I get.
So my advise to you girls is to keep all those samples you get. They give it to you for free because they want you to test it, so use it. For sensitive skin gals, make sure to read the labels first before trying anything.
