I know sample room for quiet a long time now but I’m not sure why I didn’t bother to register. I saw on Instagram that they are looking for partner bloggers but I’m not qualified yet. They require that the blog has been live for at least a year. I should have known. I might sign up once they reopen the post.
Anyway going back to Sample Room, I did register and initially got 100 points to spend. I chose the Zenutrients cream for 50 points each and paid for Php100 shipping fee. I wish they can lower this fee though.
Zenutrients Aloe and Calendula cream is a head to toe moisturizer. It is said that it can be applied both face and body.
For me it didn’t smell like Aloe even a single bit and honestly I’m not sure what Calendula is. So just to give you a reference of the scent, it smells like sampaguita but a little muskier. It is clean and fresh. Just imagine. What I like about is that it is not sticky and absorbs fast. It also feels light. However, I will not use it for my face. I prefer to use it as a body moisturizer only after shower.
Next is the Zenutrients Nourishing Olive Face Cream. The label says it’s good for dry skin. I’m more on the oily side so I think this one is not for me. I also have second thoughts about the alien green color of the cream. It makes me hesitate on putting it on my face. Last thing I need to point out is the scent. If olive really smells like this then I hate olive. It has a strong acid scent that is not tolerable for me. Though it fades away after a few minutes, it still stays on your memory for the longest time. I believe that if the product is meant for the face, it should not smell too strong. The formula is good and promising but there are so many opportunities for this face cream. I’ll just give it away to my cousin who has dry skin.
