Zoeva Classic Eye Set Review

For me, the secret of a perfect smokey eyes is a good set of eye brushes and lots and lots of practice. I don’t have many brushes on my collection especially for the face. I believe I almost mastered applying face products using my hands and a little help of sponges. Marionnaud and ELF eye brushes is what I used as a beginner and just recently I decided to check out other promising brands.
If I have all the money in the world of course I’ll buy MAC brushes because they already have established a name in terms of quality for makeup artists. Another option I looked into is Sigma.

Zoeva is a newly-discovered brand that I initially saw on Sephora PH. They offer a complete makeup line and they have become famous because of their brushes.

I purchased the Zoeva Classic Eye Set which is said to be as an exclusive selection of six high quality eye brushes made for convenient use. It is crafted with both natural and synthetic fine bristle fibers that distribute and apply makeup efficiently.

The set comes with a classy black pouch.

From L to R: 227 Luxe Soft Definer, 231 Luxe Petit Crease, 234 Luxe Smoky Shader

227 Luxe Soft Definer Brush– many bloggers are saying that this is a dupe for MAC 217. Some even say that it works better. It is the blending brush of the set and my personal favorite. I never used a blending brush so precise and fluffy as this.

213 Luxe Petit Brush- it is made of natural goat hair and is super soft. It is pointed enough and is really perfect for crease color application.

234 Luxe Smoky Shader- the basic brush that definitely works great for packing just the right amount color on your lids.

From L to R: 322 Brow Line,315 Fine Liner,317 Wing Liner

322 Brow Line Brush- it is made from vegan friendly taklon brushes which is soft and still at the same time. I grab this whenever I use my Milani Stay Put Brow Color because it’s good at distributing products with gel like consistency.

315 Fine Liner Brush- it is a nylon bristled brush that is slightly angled for on point eyeliner application. My least favorite on the collection because it can give an uneven line if you’re not a pro. But I think I should practice more and then I will not complain.

317 Wing Liner Brush- it is also a synthetic nylon brush. This is another favorite of mine because it is so easy to use and draws the perfect line on my lids.

After several washing, I observed no or at least minimal shedding for the brushes made from Natural Goat Hair. I love the sturdy black handles that spells out Color. Love. Makeup.

I love the overall performance of this eye set. It is a great option for makeup beginners because it is more affordable than the famous brushes but works almost the same. You can also purchase the brushes individually but you can save more if you buy it as a set.

I am also attracted to Zoeva’s makeup collection because their eyeshadow palettes and blushes are also well-raved online.

Price: Php 2396.00, Sephora Ph
