Maybelline Micellar Water Review

I am so much amazed on how much the beauty world has evolved since I started exploring it. There are a lot of new products that are being introduced and the one I am recently fond of is micellar water. When it was first introduced by some brands, I find it too expensive for a makeup remover/makeup water. So I didn’t jump into the hype. And then there is Biore that offered a Php189 bottle of micellar water and I immediately tried and loved it.

I am so happy that Maybelline has now come to their version of this micellar water in a big and affordable bottle.

As per the label, it is a 4-in-1 product that removes makeup, cleanses, hydrates and soothes your face. It is also fragrance-free, alcohol-free and oil-free. It is also no-rinse and approved for sensitive skin.

Effectivity?

As you can see I swatched some makeup on my arm. After two wipes, you will see that there are still traces of waterproof mascara, cream blush and liquid lipstick. All the other makeup such as foundation, concealer, eyeliner and regular lipstick has already been removed. After about 4 more wipes and rubbing, I have completely taken off all the remaining residues.

My thoughts?

I am really in love with this cleanser because it is very effective in removing long-wearing makeup in your face. I also love that it doesn’t sting my eyes. It also didn’t break me out so I will definitely recommend this product. The bottle also holds 200ml of micellar water which is great enough for the price.

Price: Php199, Maybelline counters, BeautyMNL

  1. For a 200ml at a price of P199 it’s really budget friendly. Since I’m already finished with my Biore. Will definitely try Maybelline. Thanks for the review! =)

  3. Wow. Thanks for the review. Sulit din ang price. Went to watson the other month and saw a micellar water na small bottle pero 400+ siya. I don’t know it was that expensive to have a micellar water but because of your review i know you can be more pretty without breaking the bank. Hope you notice me @flavoredgelatin
