Lorac Pro Palette Review+ Swatches

I think I’m the only makeup junkie who does not wear an eyeshadow on a daily basis. I usually wake up late and don’t have enough time to create on-point makeup looks. I used to have Urban Decay’s Naked Palette but gave it away after two years. I researched about a new neutral palette that I can use and I was a little bit torn if I’ll get this Lorac or the Tarte In Bloom Palette. I found reviews of the latter, bloggers are saying that Tarte is not consistent with the quality of the shadow palettes they produce. Lorac, on the other hand, is one of the eyeshadow palettes recommended by Youtuber Michelle Dy.

The packaging is a black matte case. I like that it really looks like a makeup for professional look but the matte case makes the palette look dirtier. It also comes with an eyeshadow primer. I will discuss about it below.

The palette has 16 neutral shades- 8 mattes and 8 shimmer. The quality is comparable to Urban Decay. I love that they are so pigmented and true to it’s color.

I even feel like it can stand for a long time even without a primer. The texture is also not as powdery as the usual drugstore shadows.

Look at the swatches I did on my arm. These are actual photos under natural light. I also intended to not apply any filters on this to make sure you see the high quality effect of the pigments on photos.

My personal favorites are Mauve, Taupe and Garnet.

The primer is almost the same size of my Smashbox. I find it more watery and sets longer. I think they intentionally made this eye primer to be a little less of quality since the eyeshadow itself can work on it’s own. Anyway, I love having free stuff included on my purchase so no complaints with this.

Overall, this eyeshadow is a good investment for those who want to purchase a high-quality eye shadow palette that is perfect for everyday makeup look. The shimmers are also great to create subtle makeup for night outs. I definitely recommend this palette and currently considering getting more products from Lorac.

Price: Php2350, Shopee

I hope you find this review helpful and comment below if you have this as well.
