Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+ PA++++ Review

I have been receiving a lot of inquiries about this product in my Instagram page that is why I decided to write a full review today.

I started to use sunscreen when I was 20 yrs old. I honestly never loved the idea, but I forced myself because I know my skin needs protection. I have been using some popular brands and I never really liked any of them. Some feels too thick and itchy, some gives white cast and some have annoying scent that lingers for hours.

Not until I tried this product from Biore, now I am never bothered applying a sunscreen on my face. Many bloggers swear to this product as well.

I was not able to take a picture of the packaging because I already threw it away.

The product is housed in a blue tube that is also travel friendly.

This is a reformulated version and I wasn’t able to try the old one so I can’t compare to this.

It is in gel-cream form that feels light on the skin, almost weightless. It also has a bit of cooling sensation (watery feel) that goes away after a few minutes. It does not have any scent as well and gets absorbed quickly.

My thoughts?

I have been using this for months now and I am totally loving it. It has a high SPF content and can be totally worn underneath my makeup. I also noticed that due to its light formulation, it is great for those who have oily skin like me as it doesn’t contribute to oil production. And since they are claiming that it is water-based, it also gives hydration to your skin.

There are also other variants in Biore’s sunscreen line and I am planning to try and compare all those in the future.

Overall, this is my current favorite sunscreen because it is just so amazing.

Price: Php420, Watsons, SM Beauty Section

I am currently using a sample size of this. I also have oily skin like yours and yes, it doesn’t contribute to oil production. Parang may scent but it is hardly noticeable. Maamoy lang sya kapag sininghot maigi yun product tapos nawawala agad as soon as you blend the gel on your face.
Unlike you, late na ako natuto gumamit ng sunscreen and i’m on mid-thirties na. Sana nga noon pa ako nag start.

I only used silka butter shea lotion to smoothen my skin, products of pond’s for my face and nivea cream to protect my skin from the sun. It’s hard to trust in many products that you have no idea how is it very effective. But because of some expertise like you in beauty products, I can say it helped me to choose what are the best for my skin. thanks to yo! 💕

Like you, I also wanted my skin to be protected from the sun and I’ve tried a lot of sunblock products all my life. Some works for me but mostly not since most of it has this thick consistency that creates a sticky feeling. Thank you for this review because I think I would like this one. Excited to try one out. 😊
