3W Clinic Natural Makeup Powder in 23 Review

Loose powder is not really my type before. It can be a little messy and the product goes all over my vanity table whenever I use it. Also, I am a clumsy girl that’s why I stay away from things that can cause a lot of mess.

One of my blogger friends recommended me this powder and since I am in the hype of Korean products, I decided to give this a shot.

As per product description:

3W Clinic Professional Natural Make-up/Loose Powder by DoDo Company

DoDo Company, the manufacturer of Palgantong has changed its name to 3W Clinic since 2009. ALL NEW versions of palgantong powder now use the name of 3W Clinic in Korea.

This is the professional version used by professional backstage make-up artists andare imported directly from Korea. PALGANTONG was first launched in Korea in 1999. It is very popular among Korean Movie Stars and 4 out of 5 Korean ladies have tried this amazing power.

Slimming Effect : Makes your face look slimmer with a three-dimension effect caused by light reflections.

Long Lasting Effect : Strong against water or sweat. Does not stain/smudge easily. Excellent long lasting functional powder.

Blooming Effect : The scattering effect of the light-scattering power creates bright and splendid skin.

Super Hydrating Effect : Maintains your skin’s moisture all day long. It prevents moisture evaporation and thus creating silky skin.

Non Comedogenic

The packaging is pretty big. It is also too bulky. I think it’s okay if you will just use it at home, but if you are planning to bring it with you, better put it in a small plastic jar. It also comes with a sponge (puff) that is soft and fluffy. I don’t use it though because I prefer using a powder brush when applying this.

Underneath the sponge is a sifter, so you can control the amount of product you want to use.

My thoughts?

The shade that I got is No.23 Natural Beige. I know that there are other two shades available, one is lighter and the other one is translucent.I have tried Ben Nye before and I think it’s pretty similar with that when it comes to the texture. It is finely milled.

As you can see, it appears a little pinkish but totally disappears and blends well for my medium tone skin. It is not entirely matte, I think it is more on the sheer side.

What I find amazing with this product is it kinda corrects my foundation. It gives an even finish and adjusts the color of my base if it’s too light.

For oil control, don’t expect too much because as it is very thin, it can only hold up to oil for a few hours.

Overall, this is one of my favorite products as of now because it makes any liquid base to look good. This sets everything perfectly and does not have a coverage, making your makeup look natural and light.
