Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner Review

Walking through the beauty section aisle of Healthy Options, I noticed this toner and I remember that it was recommended by a blogger friend. There are two sizes available, but I opted for the travel size because I don’t want to commit to a big bottle.

Fun Fact: I used to hate toners because the ones I have tried when I was young has alcohol content and I feel like they are not necessary for my “dalagita” skin.

As per the packaging:

Gently cleanses + conditions pores to maintain clear, smooth and balanced skin without overdrying.

How to use?
Like any toners, use this after cleansing. Moisten a cotton ball/cotton pad and apply all over face and neck.

Packaging:

The travel size bottle has a screw cap opening. It is also TSA compliant! A perfect travel toner without worrying that it might be too much to bring when you fly.

I am quiet confused about the label that it is fragrance free. It is not. It has this scent of a liquor! It kinda bothers me at first, but I am getting used to it.

The main composition is Witch Hazel, which is known to naturally cleanse skin without ripping off moisture.

My thoughts?

I have been getting some zits from time to time due to stress and monthly periods and I love how this very affordable toner calms the redness and soothes my face when I am having a breakout. I specifically use this for my night time skin care routine.

Also, based on my observation, it does not really minimize the pores. Maybe with longer usage, I think. However, it does not contribute to clogging the pores.

Another thing that I like about the product is that it is naturally formulated with no parabens or synthetic chemicals.

Overall, I am liking the experience I had so far with this toner. It is one of those products that you need to use constantly to achieve best results. Honestly, I might not buy the bigger bottle because of the scent. I prefer toners that are pleasing to the smell. However, I recommend this to girls with oily or combination skin who needs a toner that works but in a budget.

I’ve been looking for a facial toner that is locally available and affordable, so thank you keith for this review. I’m currently using the Faith.Hope.Love AMP toner so far so good but the only thing is it’s not available in the market and you need to shop online. I am not into online shopping because you need to pay for the sf and you are forced to buy bunch of stuffs and it’s waste of money if you buy single stuff. I’ll try this Dickinson’s toner soon.

Hi Keith! I love your blogs. I would love to try this toner but I live in the province and I don’t think it is available here. 😔 I do hope you could refer an online seller to whom I could purchase this item. Thank you! 😘
