L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer Pure Beige Review

Who does not know about this product? I see this baby from almost all people. Youtubers and bloggers rave about this and I fell into the hype. I bought myself one to test if it will work for me.

I first saw this from Nikita Dragun. She uses this as a base, to highlight, to contour. I mean, the possibility is endless. It comes in a wide range of shades and they also have corrector shades from this line.

According to the website description:
Crease-resistant, opaque coverage in a creamy yet lightweight texture. The long-wearing formula camouflages darkness under the eyes, redness and skin imperfections. Provides complete, natural-looking coverage, evens skin tone, covers dark circles and minimizes fine lines around the eyes.

The concealer’s packaging is a squeeze tube with a brush applicator at the end. I love the tube ,but I hate the applicator part. I just think that it dispenses an uncontrollable amount of product. It is also not sanitary. I wish they just put a hole on the end of the tube.

The tube has 8g of product and expiration is after 18months of opening.

The concealer itself has a slight chemical scent. It is not too creamy but also not that runny. I think it has the perfect consistency for you to work on your blending.

My thoughts?
I don’t really use concealers under my eye. I use concealers to cover my pesky pimple scars. This concealer has been my go-to product recently. The shade that I got is Pure Beige which is a perfect match for my skin tone (NC40). I use small dots on areas that need coverage and blend them evenly using my fingers. The coverage of the concealer is medium to full. It is not as opaque as I thought it would be, but it covers my blemishes just enough. For the lasting power, I can say that it does a pretty great job as long as it is properly set. It will not fade or go patchy for a whole day.

Left bare face, Right with concealer. Lighting changed a bit because after blending the concealer on my face, the sun went down on me

I am also interested in trying the correctors soon.

Overall, I can say that the hype is true. It is indeed one of the best and affordable drugstore concealer out there. I highly recommend this because it really works!
