Being a weird person, I dislike the summer season. I am not the type of person who are into summer getaways like beaches and island trips. I prefer to stay at home, chill and shower 5x a day during the hot summer days. Lately, I got excited for the summer because I thought of an excuse of getting more sunscreens. How silly right? I always have a bottle or two that I use in a daily basis, but I recently got so interested on picking other brands.
One of the products I am currently testing is the Belo SunExpert Perfecting Shield Tinted Sunscreen. I have this in my stash for months now.
According to the packaging:
SPF50 and PA++++ ensures broad spectrum protection againsts harmful UV rays
Tone Adapt Technology evens out skin tone, conceals fine lines, wrinkles and other imperfections
Cell Protect strengthens skin’s defense against pre mature skin aging.
It comes in a very sunny yellow tube packaging with a small nozzle to allow you dispense the right amount of product. It has a creamy consistency and smells like your regular shampoo/conditioner.
Personally, I don’t like tinted moisturizers and tinted sunscreens because of an article I read some time last year. It is also not recommended by Kendall’s and Kylie’s dermatologist. When I first swatched the product on my hand, I didn’t like it. The packaging says that it is suited for medium to deep skin tones.
Look at how it looks with my complexion. Too light right? But after blending it completely, there goes the Tone Adapt Technology. It completely faded away and adjusted to my skin color.
The texture and weight of this product is like of those normal BB creams. It does not give coverage or whatsoever. It just evens your skin tone a little. I use this product every time I don’t feel like wearing makeup. I just pat on some powder on top. The reason? I think it will not good underneath a full coverage foundation because it has the tendecy to be runny and streaky.
I didn’t notice white cast while using this product, which is a good thing. My skin also didn’t experience any breakouts or anything with this.
The product can last up to 3 years!
Overall, if you love tinted products I can definitely recommend you this. I think it is a decent sunscreen with good extra features.
