I remember way back High School, I used to live in a dormitory with my classmates. Me and my friend Nina once tried to put real vinegar in our hair because our teacher said that it is effective to soften coarse and damage hair. Funny thing is, we felt like it really worked! I am not really sure now if we just assumed and believed that it is.
Anyway, I got this best selling product from Althea Korea’s Hair Box and I have been using this for months now.
I also have tried Piolang’s Magic Styling Shampoo. You can read my review here.
According to the website:
My hair is naturally thick and wavy. It is also damaged due to frequent straightening treatments and heat.
When do I use it?
The description says you can use it every day. For me, I use it 2-3 times a week.
It smells like raspberry of course! No trace of vinegar at all. You don’t have to worry about your hair smelling nasty because of the treatment.
The 500ml product comes in a plastic transparent bottle with a screw cap opening. The details and product information on the back are all written in Korean.
So I know that the first question here is if is effective? Does it live to it’s claim? Is it worth the try? My answer to all these questions is yes! 100% yes.
To be honest, I was doubtful at first. The trick here is to use the product consistently. It is not a one time magic. The effect will eventually be noticed after the 4th-5th usage. But that is not bad you know. Other treatment products does not show any difference at all.
Take note, it does not help straighten my hair or anything. What it does is it makes my hair softer, smoother and more manageable. It also does not make my scalp or hair oily at all.
Lastly, the bottle is so big. It can last you months!
Overall, I will definitely recommend this to all, regardless of hair type. If you think you need a break from the traditional cream conditioners, this one can be your best bet.
