5 Beauty Products I Wish I Had in High School

I am into beauty stuff since high school. I love reading the beauty section of magazines and I always go through my mom’s stuff secretly. Fast forward to this date, there are so many new innovations happened and there are some things that I wish that already exists back then.

Here is the list of products I am thankful for being invented:

1. Micellar Water.

I could have saved myself from nights when I slept with my makeup on. I am such a fan of micellar water right now that I can’t imagine life without it.

2. Browscara.

Thank God for this! When I was younger, I was not into brows as I am now. The release of browscara is definitely a heaven sent for me, since I have thick and hard to manage eyebrows. I never thought that I can definitely hold the style that I want without the fear of the strands being out of control within the day.

Micellar Water and Sea Salt Spray

3. BB Cushions/ Cushion Foundation.

Admit it, it’s just not about the hype. The convenience of bringing your liquid base anywhere is truly a clever idea. Not to mention the cute and girly designs that can match your personality. This is definitely one of the products that changed my makeup game.

4. Sea Salt Spray

Remember your mama’s crimping iron? I was so fond of that thing that I use it to achieve fake beach waves. But hooray to sea salt sprays, heatless waves can now be achieved without the hassle of using the heavy irons with interchangeable metals. This is one of my must-haves especially when I get too lazy styling my hair.

5. Sheet Masks

Long nights of review and hello to dull and tired skin the next day? Sounds like your high school and college days right? The moment I discovered the effects of using sheet masks before going to bed, I secretly hated it for not being invented sooner. Gone are the days that us girls are to suffer from the natural response of our body to stress and tiredness. There are sheet masks that helps brighten and hydrate the skin for us to look blooming and fresh the next day. Some variants also helps calm acne and prevent breakouts. Lucky school girls of this date!

There you go, these are my top picks! Let me know the products that made a big difference to your beauty routine. Comment it down below!

  1. Reading this or other blogs about using makeup way back in high school or in college made me think what product I use before. I think I only use a hair spray at times when I need to ’tis’ my bangs, baby powder was okay for me and when I was in college my first makeup purchase was a Revlon Colorstay lipstick in Nude. I don’t pay to much attention on putting anything on my face until when I gor married. Now, there is alot to like and to love when it comes to makeup and skincare.
