Alpha-H Liquid Gold Review

Fancy skincare products? I am definitely in. Our skin deserves all the best in the world and Alpha-H Liquid Gold will give you that luxurious home treatment.

According to the website:
Alpha-H Liquid Gold is a pioneering cult-favorite skin resurfacing treatment that works overnight to stimulate healthy cells and radically improve the appearance of tired skin, sun damage, pigmentation and wrinkles. By lowering skin’s pH, the anti-aging serum accelerates natural renewal and repair processes, while bolstering elastin and collagen synthesis for a firmer, fresher and more even complexion.

Benefits
Naturally derived ingredients work like an overnight facial to revitalize aging skin.
Gradually reduces fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, scarring and sun damage.
Suitable for all skin types.

Aqua, denatured Alcohol, Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Silk, Glycolic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Glycyrrhizate Glabra Extract.

How to Use?
Apply to clean skin every other night (three or four nights a week).
Using a cotton pad, apply evenly to face, neck and décolleté. Avoid eyes and lips.
Leave on overnight without applying cream over top.
A slight tingling sensation is normal

So this product is a bit heavy on Glycolic Acid, I wrote about what it is and how it works it here.

My thoughts?

The first time I used this product, I got scared because of the burning sensation. I think I might have applied more that what’s needed then. I stopped my usage and allow a few weeks to assess my feelings if this is something worth the risk. And I’m glad I did continue because it yielded amazing results over time.

Just a warning though, if you have a sensitive skin, most probably your skin will purge. You will get a few bumps and zits for the first week. I read that it is normal so you don’t need to panic. But after that, it will eventually clear out and lighten your dark spots faster than other serums and whitening creams.

I noticed that the pores on my cheeks and nose area became less visible and some dark spots lightened a bit. It also made my skin more plump and radiant.

Tips:
1. Apply a very thin layer. This is to avoid the burning sensation.

2.The brand says you can use this 3-4 times a week. Personally, I think 1-2 times a week is enough.

3. Wear sunscreen everytime!!!

Overall, I think Alpha-H Liquid Gold is worth the hype and it’s price. It takes a bit patience getting used to it’s formula but the results are unbelievable. I only wish they can make it lighter or less tingling.

I’ve been hearing a lot positive reviews on this, and Glycolic acid has been having great effects on my skin 🙂 I’m currently using a 10% glycolic acid serum. Do you know how the percent is in this?
